ARCOBALENO FOR STUDENTS

Arcobaleno is an inclusive all-day LGBTQ+ café/bar and event space in Kemptown, as well as the brick-and-mortar space of charity Across Rainbows.
Through workshops, talks and fostering community, Across Rainbows is on a mission to tackle the mental wellbeing crisis in the LGBTQ+ community. Our new venue on St George’s Road is more than just a hang-out spot, it’s a home; a space to nurture creative expression and make genuine connections.
And drink cocktails, of course.
Arcobaleno hosts free events every Friday and Saturday, from drag shows to burlesque nights and live music, and the kitchen is open Thursday–Sunday,
bringing you Brighton’s best Maltese-inspired plates!
How to find us
From the Universities: Take Bus 23 and get off at Upper Bedford Street.

The “Forgotten” Sex Education
Interactive Drag Quiz
Hosted by self-proclaimed ‘Brighton-based bimbo’, Lydia L’Scabies!
Supported by Terrence Higgins Trust
We’re on a mission to make safe sex sexy. For many of us LGBTQ+ folks, the relevant sex education was (ahem) “forgotten”, and we deserve answers.
Join us to fill in the gaps with an interactive quiz (with prizes, of course!) and ask any (hopefully not) burning questions you might have.
Our first quiz will take place on:
-
29th September
-
Doors open: 8pm
-
Entry is free
